Kevan is an experienced Corporate Security & Business Continuity professional who held senior positions at The Shard & Bloomberg LP, having made a successful transition from the City of London Police in 2011.
In his current role Kevan works closely with Jane offering Business Continuity and associated services. He prides himself with the diverse Client base CorpRisk has developed across the UK. Kevan takes the lead on the design and facilitation of tabletop exercises and education awareness training sessions, that focus on command and control, log keeping and detailed application of the Business Continuity Plans and associated documents.
As Deputy Head of Counter Terrorism Kevan liaised closely with the business community on a range of initiatives & advising on their security. He pioneered and implemented the UK’s first police/business sector penetration initiative to test site security of major institutions, identifying gaps and offering security advice and solutions. Operationally, he led on counter terrorism operations, working closely with Special Branch and other agencies. As an accredited Counter Terrorism Security Coordinator, he led on the security planning of major events of national significance, involving Royalty, UK Government, and Foreign Heads of State. During an 18-month period he was Project Manager for a 7-day major Home Office sponsored counter terrorism exercise, involving circa 750 people that included UK’s full spectrum of counter terrorist assets that led to changes in national procedures for real incidents. Kevan delivered counter terrorist presentations to large audiences in UK, Europe and USA.
Before completing 30 years’ service Kevan was a member of the Metropolitan Police Olympic Security Directorate with responsibility for CBRN planning across all UK sporting venues and counter terrorism exercises.
As Head of Security at The Shard & Director Security, Bloomberg European Headquarters, Kevan worked with developers, architects and consultants contributing to the technical and physical security features during the construction phases, producing plans and procedures for operating the sites.
At the Shard, he introduced the first security strategy, counter terrorism, public order & emergency plans and procedures that proved to be instrumental in successfully protecting people and property and an effective response to multiple incidents, these included Greenpeace Climb, Royal visits which attracted wide TV news coverage.
Kevan was recognised for his collaborative approach, when he successfully introduced multi-agency partnership working, including engagement with Government, Police & Fire services at strategic & operational levels.
He is Deputy Chair of the South East Cross Sector Safety & Security Communications (CSSC) initiative & Co-founder of Hi –RIG, a group formed with senior representatives from the signature high rise buildings across the capital with safety, security and building management responsibilities.
Kevan has a Graduateship in Counter Terrorism Management, Diploma in Security Management and is a Registered Independent Security Consultant

Jane is a seasoned Resilience & Business Continuity professional with over 20 years’ experience in Government, Police and Corporate sectors, working in the UK and overseas.
She was elected to chair the Crisis Management National Working Group, through SURVIVE, the UK-based business continuity membership organisation, which was then superseded by the Business Continuity Institute of which Jane has been an associate member for over 20 years.
Jane is passionate about working with organisations to develop plans to mitigate business disruption and to protect reputation and brand. She has a proven track record of delivery that includes her pioneering work on The Shard’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Programme which placed the building is a strong position to respond to and recover from security and fire incidents.
Jane set up as a freelance Business Continuity Consultant in 2015, since then she has:
- Successfully worked with a number of Clients to achieve ISO 22301, the International Standard for Business Continuity.
- Formed excellent relationships with British Standard Institute members and staff
- Provides BC Management services to Tate Galleries, across all of their UK galleries
- Delivered emergency planning services to clients in retail, visitor attraction, real estate, communications and other commercial sectors
- Designed and delivered training and tabletop exercises
Jane’s approach is one of total integration by collaborating with agencies and key stakeholders to produce high quality plans capable of delivering robust and achievable responses to emergency situations.
During Jane’s 6 years in Hampshire Constabulary she was:
- Leader of a portfolio of work for emergency preparedness and response & delivery of comprehensive plans both within the Constabulary and for multi-agency response.
- Core member of the Hampshire Local Resilience Forum
- Member of the Constabulary’s senior command team, providing essential support and advise to ACPO Operations.
- Worked with the Home Office she led a UK Government project on the implementation of emergency preparedness and response in Romania
- Planned and delivered of a number of live play counter terrorism and emergency exercises.
Jane has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management & an Affiliated Membership of the Business Continuity Institute
